At Ghalib Residence, MESA handled the home as a turnkey solution, bringing engineering, design and execution into one connected scope. The architectural idea, its technical resolution and its making belong to the same project. The completed spaces tell that story: a stair within a generous central volume, daylight along the galleries, rooms opening towards planting, and a material language carried from the frontage into the interior.
01 / DESIGN THE EXPERIENCE
CIRCULATION & CONNECTION
The upper gallery looks across the central void. Glazed edges keep the stair and adjoining routes in view, while daylight reaches the circulation from above. The route through the home becomes a space in its own right.

A PLACE TO PAUSE
A blue chair and a circular yellow rug make a small room beside the window. The larger architectural sequence leaves room for an intimate moment: reading, waiting or looking outside.

02 / ENGINEER THE WHOLE

The stair and its landings connect several levels around the stone-clad centre. This is where the architectural experience meets engineering: the relationship between movement, support, levels, openings and the edges people use every day. MESA’s turnkey scope brought engineering into the same project as design and execution.

ROOF LIGHT & ENCLOSURE
A high strip of daylight reveals the long textured wall beside the gallery. The visible result draws attention to the relationship between an opening, its enclosure and the space below.

THE INDOOR POOL
The indoor pool extends the home beyond its living rooms. Its water, surrounding floor and adjoining spaces form part of the complete residential composition, with engineering and spatial design considered within MESA’s overall turnkey role.

03 / EXECUTE THE DETAILS
SURFACES & TRANSITIONS
A curved stone wall meets warm timber, a pale floor and a bright runner. The slatted ceiling follows the length of the passage. The character of the home depends on these adjoining surfaces reading as one considered sequence.

NICHES & LIGHT
A lit niche and the edge of a backlit mirror give the basin a composed setting. Execution makes the design tangible at close range: the recess, shelf, wall finish and illumination meet in one view.

JOINERY & THE KITCHEN
The kitchen brings an island, continuous counters and a narrow window into a clear arrangement. Dark upper cabinetry and pale lower fronts give the practical room its own rhythm within the wider material palette.

04 / A HOME WITH MANY RHYTHMS
THE HOME CINEMA
The cinema has a distinct atmosphere: tiered carpeted platforms, softly lit shelving and long lines of ceiling light. It adds another kind of gathering to the home.
